Adventures
I’m not exactly sure where to start with the adventure section of the blog. Lots has happened. I’ll share with you a couple of short instances where my experience was good, and not so good, but rewarding and I look back and laugh.
The first large organized ride I went on was over a year ago to the “Winter National”. That’s where I met a bunch of folks, including Bryn, Rod, and a few others. I was so impressed with that ride that I wanted to go on more. I set out on my own one Sunday and lo and behond, I ran into Bryn and a bunch of others, and they invited me to a ride, where we went up north east in the city. We went wayyyy up to the graveyard through the neighbourhoods on Fraser St. and back down to the water again. A long way, but rewarding. Again, I couldn’t get enough.

My first Vancruisers ride
My most recent mishap (last summer!) was when I was going very fast on my red Schwinn in 3rd gear, and a pine cone got stuck up in my rear fender and I lost my footing on my pedals and did the “death wobble” before laying down my bike. I now have a scar on my left elbow that looks kind of nasty.
